The Amica 19.7 Knoxville will be held at Tellico Lake in Lenoir City, Tennessee.
Event weekend will feature a 19.7 mile sprint triathlon, a half marathon, a 10k and a kids' fun run. The half marathon, 10k and kids' race will be held on Saturday while the sprint triathlon will be held on Sunday morning.
The Amica 19.7 Tellico Sprint Triathlon features a half-mile swim, 16.1-mile bike route and 3.1-mile run. The swim takes place in the fresh water of Tellico Lake. Projected water temperature is 70 to 75 degrees. The bike course is along the Tellico Parkway, looping Davis Ferry and Maple Hill roads. The course has rolling hills and wide shoulders. The run course, on roads and paths around and on Tellico Dam, is almost as flat as a pancake!
