Amica 19.7 Newport

The Amica 19.7 Newport will be held at Third Beach in Middletown, Rhode Island.
The final event of the Amica 19.7 Race Series will feature a $10,000 pro prize purse. The half-mile ocean swim will start and finish at Third Beach. The 16.1-mile bike course travels along scenic coastline and through beautiful and historic residential neighborhoods in Middletown and Portsmouth. The 3.1-mile run course is an out-and-back run along Hanging Rock Road on Gardiner Pond.
Please note that the Amica 19.7 Triathlon has two transitions. The swim course and T1 will be at Third Beach and T2 will be at Sachuest Beach (Second Beach). Please park at Second Beach (off Sachuest Point Road), register and walk your bicycle to the swim start at T1 at Third Beach. [map]

Triathlon: Sprint triathlon featuring a half-mile swim, 16.1-mile bike route and a 3.1-mile run.

The Amica 19.7 Newport will be held in Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth, Rhode Island. The historic coastal setting and comfortable weather provides the ideal setting for the finale of the Amica 19.7 Race Series.

Onsite Registration & Expo
The Amica 19.7 Newport Health & Wellness Expo is open to athletes and the general public. Register and pick-up race packets on Friday and Saturday, and check out some of our series-wide sponsors. Athletes are strongly encouraged to attend to pick up race packets early to simplify their race day routine.
Times and Location
Friday, September 21: 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 22: 6:00 - 7:15 a.m.
Registration and packet pick-up will be held in the Second Beach parking lot.
